Supervisory Experience
Current & Past Supervision
Kelsey has extensive supervisory experience, and often employs students in part-time and full-time positions to support her research projects, in addition to supervising student-driven honours and masters thesis research.

Kelsey is interested in supervising students in the areas of agricultural, rural / community-based recreation and tourism development, trail-based recreation and tourism, food and culinary tourism, non-commercial hospitality, battlefield tourism, scuba diving tourism, and volunteer tourism.
Kelsey is also interested in serving on supervisory committees where she can contribute to the methodological development of a student's thesis in the areas of qualitative methods (qualitative content analysis, discourse analysis, ethnographic interviews, oral history and personal narrative interviews, participant observation, (auto)ethnography, immersive fieldwork, focus groups, and photo-elicitation) or the use of grounded theory, phenomenology-based ethnography, reflexivity, emergent theme analysis or narrative discourse analysis.
